I am 67 and retired. I was a Marketing Director in Senior Living. I have been married almost 47 years. I have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I have been singing since I was 16 years old. I have sung solo, in groups, choirs, and bands. I am not a musician however. I just sing. I have been writing for years. I got away from it for several years because I was busy raising kids and working. Now that I am retired, I am writing a lot more and really enjoying it. I am a Christian, so most of my songs are faith based. I like to write stories. I write mostly from my own life experiences and those of my family and friends. I think I have written some excellent songs. Because I am not a musician myself, I collaborate with SUNO AI to create the musical arrangements and vocals for my songs. I want the listeners of my songs to experience them, not just hear them. I write mostly in the Country, Country Christian, Contemporary Christian, Country Blues, and Blues Gospel genres.
