Mike Walton is the founder and principal songwriter of Mike, Tyler, Laurie Live in Vibes Publishing (M&TL Live in Vibes Publishing). Based out of the industrial heartland of Columbiana, Ohio, M&TL curates a highly specialized, 25+ song country-noir and heartland rock cinematic catalog. My writing focuses on raw, unpolished realism, localized grit, and high-stakes psychological character studies engineered for major-label placement, country radio, and Hollywood movie sync synchronization. I use lived-in experience or create deep character backstories to make the narrators come to life. I treat my songs as mini-screenplays, caring more about the overall story than a single, isolated lyric. Our songs' main goal is to make you feel something: if you can hear it, then you can feel it; when you feel it, you start to see it; then, we will execute it .
